Mark Your Calendars for the Decision America Prayer Rally

Dear Friends,

I’m very excited about a national tour making its way across the country and culminating in our state in October. Last night I attended a very exciting event that I want to share with you! It was a gathering of pastors and other faith leaders from across North Carolina as we met representatives of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association to prepare and pray for Franklin Graham’s 2016 “Decision America Tour.”

I want to ask you right now to mark October 13 on your calendar and, if at all possible plan to be in Raleigh on that day to join Franklin Graham, NC Family, and other Christian brothers and sisters in prayer for our state and nation.

So far, Franklin has held prayer rallies in 31 of the 50 state capitals across our nation, calling believers in Jesus Christ to fervently pray to God for our nation, to boldly live out their faith in every aspect of life, and to actively proclaim the Gospel message. The Tour is based on 2 Chronicles 7:14, which says, “If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sins and heal their land.”

In the coming months, Franklin will lead prayer rallies in the remaining 19 states, with our very own North Carolina being the last stop of the Decision America Tour on October 13 in Raleigh—what an honor!

Please pray for this and the other stops along the Decision America Tour: that God will use these events to draw people to Himself in earnest prayer; and that as we humble ourselves before Him, and seek His face, and turn from our sin and selfishness, that He will hear our prayers, forgive us, and heal our land.

We will send you a notice on the 13th of each month about this upcoming event, as a reminder to pray and to prepare to join us in Raleigh in October.

Thank You and God Bless You,

John L. Rustin
