2023 Legislative Session Begins in Earnest

Following an “organizational session” on January 11, state lawmakers returned to Raleigh today to begin the 2023 Regular Legislative Session in earnest. The State Senate held a pro-forma session with little formal business, while House Speaker Tim Moore (R-Cleveland) handed out gavels to members who will be chairing various committees in the State House of Representatives.
