ALERT: URGE STATE LAWMAKERS TO WITHHOLD TAX DOLLARS FROM PLANNED PARENTHOOD!

The Center for Medical Progress continues to release a series of undercover videos exposing Planned Parenthood’s practices of callously negotiating the sale of aborted babies and their body parts. As budget negotiations linger in the North Carolina General Assembly, NC Family continues to push for provisions that would ensure that your state taxpayer dollars are not being directed to Planned Parenthood. On the federal level, Congress is expected to continue debate on closing down federal dollars, which have flowed freely to Planned Parenthood since 1970.

John Rustin, President of NC Family, says this is a critical time to keep the pressure on both the state and federal levels. “For far too long, Planned Parenthood has portrayed itself as a pro-woman organization that cares about the health of people in the communities where it serves. The recent videos have shown this to be a ruse as we see example after example of top executives to office staff apparently violating laws and misleading vulnerable women for profit.

Join the effort to Defund Planned Parenthood by contacting your state lawmakers AND sharing your heart on this issue with family and friends and on social media. Please contact your representatives in the North Carolina House and Senate, and urge them to eliminate any taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood in North Carolina!
