Upcoming Events to Support Marriage

The NC4Marriage campaign is sponsoring two upcoming events, Marriage Sunday and a Marriage Rally, to demonstrate support for a State Marriage Amendment protecting marriage in NC as between one man and one woman. One week from Sunday, churches across North Carolina will celebrate Marriage Sunday. Pastors are encouraged to preach about the sanctity of traditional marriage at services on February 22 and to encourage their members to attend a Marriage Rally in Raleigh.

On March 3, citizens, churches, organizations, and schools will gather on the Halifax Mall behind the Legislative Building at the State Capital for a Marriage Rally. Individuals and large groups will come in cars, caravans, and buses from across the state to take a stand for marriage. After the rally, participants are asked to visit with their legislators to encourage them to support a bill that will give North Carolina citizens the opportunity to vote on a State Marriage Amendment.
